I just love browsing Etsy. One could look all day and still find something new to love. Here are few of my recent finds:)
I am taking a break from the world of illness I find myself in these days to tell you about a little giveaway going on that I would seriously give a body part to win. At the risk of encouraging more competition I thought that you should know;)
Epiphanie Bags are a photographer's (or aspiring photographer's) dream come true. These bags are so pretty I want to carry it everyday. The moment I saw them I wanted one and last week I got to push buy on the Lola bag! Not only is this bag gorgeous and functional but i just read this morning that ...wait for it......PW Ree has one too!!! Yup. I'm that cool. This bag was also featured in Popular Photography Magazine. I know, I know. :) I can not wait for it to get here. I have big plans for me, my camera, my girl and a couple of old chairs this spring and summer and this bag will be just perfect for this!
Back to the giveaway. They are giving away your choice of a new Canon 5D MarkII or $2500 gift certificate to Southwest Airlines! I don't even know which one I would pick. I want the MarkII so bad I can't think straight. It is what I have been lusting after as my next camera and it would come to me a lot quicker than I can buy it myself but the gift certificate would be perfect for Paris this year. Decisions, decisions. I need to win 1st right?!
If you are in need of a new camera bag head over and take a look. Enter the contest too if you want or not I mean you really don't need to....or want to right? Just saying;)
I just stumbled upon the most delicious little slice of heaven and I just had to share. This little paradise resides on Etsy and is destined to be my go-to plcae for a sweet little frock to skip along the streets of Paris in. I would so love to re-new our wedding vows for our 10 year anniversary and if I do I just might pick up another of these lovelies. What's all the fuss about? The shop is called Ouma and it is divine. Just look!
Le sigh. Wouldn't I look AMAZING grocery shopping in that last one. I mean, really.
Be sure to check out these fabulous photographers that are responsible for these sun drenched images.

Last year around this time I shared some Etsy finds in order to inspire some holiday shopping at what I think is one of the most incredible shopping sites around. This year is no exception. I picked items that were already on my wish list(and on my list of faves) and had way too much fun scouring the gift guides for wonderful items I think you need to see. So here it is, my Etsy finds for this holiday season.
Isn't that gorgeous! Jeanne has got to be one of the sweetest most inspiring women I have had the pleasure of meeting in this blog world. She inspires to me to go after my dreams and to be true to myself. I would love to try some altered art sometime too. It is just lovely. You can find this here at A Bushel And A Peck.
I love felt food for kids and this shop has some of the cutest that I have seen. They are patterns though, so you need to get crafty if you want them. You can find them at July Hobby.
I stumbled across these little beauties by Leslie Jansonand was instantly in love. Wouldn't these look gorgeous hanging on an all white Christmas tree!
I am in LOVE with this blouse from Lirola. It is available in different colors but I just love the soft pattern on this one. I would love to pair it with one of these gorgeous headbands from Miss Ruby Sue.
One of these necklaces from New Fashioned Whispers would be the perfect finishing touch.
The Back Porch Shoppe had tons to choose from but I really love these numbers. I could picture 100 different ways to use them.
Le sigh. This is just pure perfection. Sara has such a great eye and has the most beautiful treasures in her shop. Sadie Olive is one of my favorites.
This little vase from Red Hot Pottery is so cute I'm not sure if I could put anything in it!
I want this necklace so bad I almost didn't put it here for fear that someone else might snap it up. It is by Red Heart 13and I just LOVE it. I added it to my Wishpot just in case someone, and I am not sayingg who, might be looking for a good anniversary or Christmas gift for me. Just sayin'.....
Last but not least is a little something from a shop that I absolutely adore for funky pieces for my daughter's wardrobe. In fact, she is wearing a Courtney Courtney dress right now!
These are just some of the great things available at Etsy right now. Perhaps sometime I will have to do an Etsy Love post for all of the fantastic kids products that are there too. Until then I hope you have seen something that you like and are inspired to take alook at all that Etsy has to offer:)
Yesterday morning I received the most delightful email. A little bit ago I told you all about a photography contest that I had entered on a whim. Much to my surprise my photo was one of the ones chosen to be a part of I Heart Faces new photo book. It has been a long wait but the book is finally done!
I am so thrilled to have been able to be apart of this. To have one of my photos published is a huge thrill. You can preview the book hereat Blurb. My pic is on the top left of page 60.
I can't wait to get my copy!
Oh autumn, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways(or the things;)).
~Cider Mills filled with laughing children, warm cinnamon donuts and ice cold cider.
~Long drives down winding roads covered in an canopy of golden hued foliage.
~Piping hot cups of pumpkin spice latte from Starbuck's.
~Delighted kids jumping and resting on piles of red, yellow and orange leaves.
~Freshly baked pies that fill the house with a warm and smell that a candle never could.
~Filling tummies with homemade applesauce made from apples that they picked.
~Dressing up as our favorite things to entice the neighbors to give treats and goodies.
~Tall boots and cozy sweaters. Fuzzy scarves and stylish hats.
~The anticipation of the magic that Christmastime brings.
Visiting cider mills, strolling through pumpkin patches and picking bushels of apples are some of the activities that make autumn my favorite season. This weekend I got a chance to spend some much needed time with my sweet little family of 5. We visited Westview Orchards on Sunday and had a wonderful, cold day of merriment. These are some of those moments that I was talking about last post and I will cherish them always.
Today was one of those days where dreams come true and hopes are fulfilled. You see, today was my baby girl's first day of dance class. I danced as a child and on into college and had hopes that one day I would have a daughter that would long to move as well. Now please know, I have no intention of forcing anyone to do anything that they don't want to, so you must imagine my delight in that fact that she absolutely adored it! I seriously doubt that there is anything quite as cute as little bitty ones in tutus so you will excuse me the number of photos you are about to be shown.
