Good morning everyone! I could'nt stay away from another show & tell. I missed participating last week and it really messed up my week;) Since my machine is still at the shop I have no new clothes to show I thought that it would be fun to give you more insight into the design process. As I am dreaming up and sketching the collections for the debut of my clothing line I get inspiration from many different places. Two of the collections that you will see next year are influenced by the delicious couture creations I will be sharing with you today.
First up is Ellie Saab. The confections that he has created are good enought to eat. Every gown was perfection. I mean really, is there anything better than a frothy, sumptuous dress? I don't think so.
Yum!!!
Next up we have the divine brilliance of John Gallion for Christian Dior. The collection was one gorgeous frock after the other. Soo fun! If it would'nt have taken 3 pages I would have shown them all.
*Le sigh*
How could one not be inspired by all of that frothy goodness? I would just love to get my hands on all of those gorgeous fabrics. At the risk of sounding crazy, I must confess, I would love to dress like that in my everyday life. Could'nt you just picture me in that last Dior dress pushing a shopping cart at my local Meijer? Lol, I might look bound for the nut-house but boy would I look good!
You're probably wondering how on earth I take inspiration from couture gowns and use it to create children's clothes. Well, you'll just have to wait and see;)
